He told PEOPLE magazine: ''They are both really generous and kind people ... It organically happened, which is such a beautiful thing. Mariah's my friend; she's always around. James is my partner. ''They hung out as friends first so that was a beautiful thing and beautiful way to get together with somebody. And I'm happy to be in the middle of it!'' Meanwhile, the happy couple are reportedly planning a ''grand wedding''. She revealed: ''I'm most excited about the grandeur, darling. It's not gonna be a big wedding. But it's going to be grand. ''I think the most important thing is the relationship and, you know, just the connection. The love it of all. That's the most important thing, but of course I love a grand moment.'' And Mariah is taking her time to reveal the engagement to her four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe because she wants them to be able to understand that nothing will change for them. She added: ''I haven't talked to them about it completely because they are so young - they don't really understand things yet. ''You have to go slowly and explain things and always make sure they know that this is only going to be good for them. Their lives aren't going to change.''..
