They say home is where the heart is, and so that's exactly what Cassper Nyovest intends to do on his latest tour.
The rapper announced a major African tour on Monday evening, with a debut performance in his hometown of Mafikeng, South Africa next weekend.
From Nelspruit to Nambia, the #AGHastag Refiloe Album Tour will see Cassper perform 19 dates across seven African countries and will kick off at the Civic Centre in Mafikeng on May 27. The rapper has promised that more dates will be added at a later stage.
Announcing the tour dates, Cassper revealed that the tour is inspired by a phone he recently released with AG Mobile and will be centred around his latest album, Refiloe.
"We (are) making history again with my album tour and I'm starting at home on the 27th of May! Maftown! You need to come see this! It's a show designed around the actual album and it's inspired by the phone I just dropped with AG Mobile. This is not a party! It's a concert! I just want to give you guys quality. You need to come see it!" he wrote on Instagram.
The Doc Shebeleza rapper has also promised to hold meet and greets with anyone who buys, or has bought, his phone and that they will be given free entrance to the shows.
For everyone else, tickets will go on sale at Computicket from Wednesday at a cost of R100.
