Khaleesi shuts down body double rumours on Game of Thrones

Daenerys Targaryen caused an internet meltdown after stripping down naked in the latest episode. Of course, people are questioning whether or not it was all her.

While most of you GOT fans would have watched the latest episode (at least twice) by now, we're being kind and letting you know that this story will have spoilers from season 6, episode 4.

After being captured by Khal Moro and forced into the temple of the dosh khaleen, Daenerys takes revenge and plots to escape. In an epic moment, she is threatened with rape and to become a sex slave. But Daenerys reeps the benefits of her bloodline and burns the dothraki leaders. She emerged naked and the people bowed down to their new queen.

And the internet went wild.

Of course, there are some that doubted whether or not that was really Emilia Clarke or if that naked gloriousness belongs to a body double.

The actress is having none of it. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she shot down all of the speculation.

"I’d like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3,” she says. “That was awhile ago. It’s now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I’m just feeling genuinely happy I said ‘Yes.’ That ain’t no body double!”
