But Zahara's weight-loss journey did not interest fans at all, who chose to criticise her fashion sense through an influx of comments and memes on Twitter.
This saw Zahara top the trends list for more than 14 hours. The social media frenzy started shortly after Zahara posted a picture of herself wearing an outfit, which Kim Kardashian's daughter North West was spotted wearing a while ago.
The singer bravely asked followers who wore it best: her or North West? This set the fashion police into motion who went after Zahara for finding fashion inspiration from a toddler.
Zahara is the latest celebrity to come under fire for her fashion sense in a matter of days,with actress Samkelo Ndlovu also being a victim of those darn fashion "experts."
