It seems like DJ Bongz has no time to entertain pesky rumours, which saw him make headlines this past weekend. It was reported that Bongz allegedly exaggerated about the suburb he lives in.

According to a Sunday Sun report DJ Bongz allegedly lied about living in the posh suburb of La Lucia, while he has been living in Pinetown, South of Durban.

Setting the record straight through a social media statement, Bongz poured cold water on the reports.

"Its funny how people see you doing Good they wanna drag you down. Chris Brown coming to eMzansi should be something we all celebrate. Just after we announced the headliner of our Durban July event, then this article but its all good i shall soldier on. I'm not shaken..... Tickets open on the 24th May," Bongz wrote on Instagram.

DJ Bongz, who is no stranger to controversy, seems to be taking the claims in his stride.
