Riky Rick is no ordinary South African rapper. From the way he dresses, to the music he makes - it's no secret that he has built a unique identity for himself, and now he is encouraging others to follow suit.
The rapper posted a series of tweets, in which he speaks out against imitating others in an effort to fit in, urging that people should rather strive to be unique.
"Don't get too caught up with comparing artist... We were never meant to be the same... Everybody is meant to be very very different," he wrote.
He further lambasted people who poke fun at unique individuals, simply labelling the act as "stupid".
"This thing of laughing at people who dress different and true to themselves is dumb.
"Telling people how they must dress is STUPID," he added.
Shortly after, Riky revealed his own determination to continue being different, after suggesting that people should be free to live the way they want to live.
"If you wanna be a clone its cool. I'll be over here doing me [though]," he tweeted.
