Florence Masebe talks about life as an advisor to the presidency

Actress Florence Masebe has spent the last nine months as an advisor to the deputy minister in the presidency, Buti Manamela.

The actress, who currently stars in the Mzansi Magic drama Ring of Lies, told TMG Entertainment that she has been working in the presidency, advising on the creative industries, to the deputy minister since September last year.

She explained that part of her responsibilities is to help identify the needs of the creative industry and to help facilitate this.

As an accomplished actress, her experience no doubt adds value to her assignment but she is humble when asked about her accomplishments so far, instead choosing to focus on what she can still do to help.

She has accompanied the deputy minister to several events over the last few months and explains that she is enjoying her role and the challenges it brings.

"It's a challenge but it's like any other job. You have your goals and tasks which you have to fulfill," she added brightly.
