Idols SA season 11 runner-up Mmatema Morema has revealed that she hopes to fill up the State Theatre for her one-woman show, taking place on Saturday, July 2.

Speaking to Daily Sun, the singer explained why it has taken her so long to release her own music, soon after her season on Idols came to a close.

"I have spent most of my time singing other people’s songs and styles and felt if I were to release an album so soon, I wouldn’t be releasing something that defines me, but it would be someone else’s sound," she told the local publication.
