The line-up for the 2016 Joburg Day event has been announced and there are some big names that will be entertaining fans.

947 has announced the nine acts that will be performing at Joburg Day in September.

The impressive list will see the likes of Mi Casa, Kwesta and DJ Kent.

But perhaps the biggest excitement comes in the form of AKA and DJ Black Coffee, who have also been confirmed to perform on the day.

Black Coffee recently walked away with South Africa's first ever BET Award, with the star getting massive praise from fans.

However, AKA and Black Coffee have long-standing beef with the rapper not joining the winner and all of the nominees in the Best International Act: Africa category on stage at the awards.

The pair got into a Twitter feud last year with AKA telling the world-famous DJ to mind his own business when it comes to hip-hop.
