Melanie Du Bois, who plays Felicity Daniels Croukamp on SABC 2's 7de Laan, is reportedly the latest to bid farewell to the long-running Afrikaans soap.
After16 years on the show, it is reported that Melanie's contract will not be renewed by Danie Odendaal Productions, and Felicity's story line will come to an end, according to TV Plus.
Joining Melanie is Masego Sehoole and Corné Crous, who were also given the boot after they were recently informed that their contracts will not be renewed, while Anelisa Phewa, who plays Sifiso, decided to quit to take on work as a lecturer at AFDA, a film and drama school in Joburg.
This sudden announcement comes hot on the heels of news that Diaan Lawrenson, Jo da Silva and Christo will also be leaving the award-winning soap.
Melanie will be making her final on-screen appearance in October.
