Gugu Zulu's one-year-old daughter, Lelethu, stole the hearts of many South Africans at her father's incredibly emotional memorial service as she was heard crying, and later on, playing in a separate room as the service got underway.

For a number of viewers, it was heart-rendering to see the little of bundle of joy, wearing a grey dress and a cream coat, as speakers opened about how much Gugu loved his daughter, with some committing to take care of her from here on.

"We will be the best father to your baby and she will never ever go hungry," said model and TV personality Stevel Marc, who was Gugu's close friend, adding that "through Lelethu, Gugu will always remain."

While international mountain biker, Wiilam Mokgopo echoed the same sentiments, saying: "He left a beautiful angel, Lelethu. In her eyes, her smile  and in our hearts #GuguZulu will always live."

In a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, Letshego promised to expose little Lelethu to the adventurous lifestyle that the pair so thoroughly enjoyed during their time together.

"The lifestyle of an adventure couple is not over my love, Lelethu and I will continue," she said.

In addition, she shared her hopes of Lelethu meeting at least half the man that Gugu was, when she's grown up.

"My wish is for our daughter, Lelethu, to meet a man half as amazing as her father," she revealed.
