Generations' Gog' Flo speaks out on the pain of losing her son

Actress Ivy Nkutha, who plays the role of Gog' Flo on SABC 1's Generations: The Legacy has opened up about the passing of her son, revealing that she "felt so lost, with so many questions."

During an interview with Move, Ivy said that she lost her son to pneumonia, shortly after he was diagnosed with the lung infection. She revealed that she felt lost and was plagued with incessant internal questions, as a result.

"I gave birth to two daughters, and one handsome boy. Unfortunately, I lost my son," she told the local publication.

"He had pneumonia and it didn't take long before it took his life."

She further spoke out on the additional pain of seeing her daughters dealing with their brother's passing, however, added that she was grateful to her husband of 51 years for being there for her during this tragic ordeal.

Ivy Nkutha has appeared on a number of local dramas and soapies, such as Soul City, Muvhango, Isidingo, City Ses'La and Zabalaza.
