The year isn't over yet, but we're already convinced that Beyoncé threw the best birthday party of 2016.

The American superstar kicked off celebrations for her 35th birthday by attending Budweiser's Made In America Festival on Sunday, where she spent quality time with former president Bill Clinton and Chance the Rapper.

However, it was the second leg of her celebrations that gave us the biggest FOMO.

Queen Bey gathered her nearest and dearest for one seriously funky, Soul Train-themed bash, which boasted a star-studded guest list including Serena Williams, Usher, P Diddy, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, and Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Beyoncé and hubby Jay Z (who was dressed as Jimi Hendrix, by the way) burned up the dance floor. Yup, the flares were big and the hair was bigger.

The festivities reportedly didn't end until 5am - and looking at the snaps, you'll see why.
