Here's why 'the lady in the yellow dress' wasn't at the Saftas

Some of the country's biggest stars took to the red carpet at the SA Film and Television Awards (Saftas) on Saturday night but there was one person who was notably absent: Skolopad.

The musician and nurse, known as "the lady in the yellow dress" from the Metro FM Music Awards late last month, had fans in a tizz when they realised that she would not be making an appearance at the Saftas.

They took to social media to demand that Skolopad take to the carpet in one of her outrageous outfits.

But Skolopad was too busy lighting up the stage with another one of her racy outfits to give into the demands.

The star showed up at a Chesenyama in the Free State without any pants, and flaunted her underwear.

The star has previously been labelled an attention seeker and took to Twitter to defend herself.
