Pearl Modiadie opens up about building her dad a house

Pearl Modiadie has described the journey of building her father a house as one of her "biggest and proudest" moments.

During an interview with Bona magazine Pearl, who grew up in a shack in Tembisa, revealed that she was building a house for her father.

"This is one of the biggest and proudest moments of my life. It's even bigger than landing a TV show," Pearl said.

The TV star added that she worked hard to make sure that her family could lead a good life.

"When people are surrounded by poverty, they often feel bad when they experience the goodness that life has to offer. But, I work hard so we can live well," she added.
