South Africa's "Weakest Link" quizmaster Fiona Coyne has died, Cape Town police say. Two notes were found at her home - one note was addressed to her mother, the other to her domestic worker, according to Media24.

"Yes, I can confirm that," said Captain Stephen Knap after a report on Eyewitness News.

He was on the scene at a property in Fishhoek and could not immediately provide further details.

Coyne, born in Springs, outside Johannesburg in 1965, trained and worked as an actor and was part of the Capab drama group for seven years, according to who'swho Southern Africa.

She coached media and camera skills for the National Arts Council.

In an interview with SA Career Focus magazine in 2008 she told of how she had worked at a sanctuary for elephants and rhinos in Kenya for four years and then went on to coach and lecture in the corporate arena.

She published a book "Who Moved My Ladder? The Working Woman's Guide to Success" and also worked as a personal branding consultant and communications specialist.
