The ‘7de Laan’ actress Milla Louw has died of heart failure in Port Elizabeth, according to a report.
Radio Sonder Grense (RSG) reported Monday that Louw, 89, died on Sunday night. She was admitted to the St George Hospital on Saturday.
The actress, who played Tannie Schoeman in the South African soap opera, lived with her daughter in Port Elizabeth.
Louw is known for her role as Tannie Schoeman on 7de Laan, has featured on Binnelanders, and has acted in films including Afspraak in die Kalahari.
She was survived by four children, 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, according to the radio station.
Funeral arrangements were not yet known.
