The Idols producer and presenter has put paid to rumours he intends to leave his wife by sharing images of them spending quality time on social media.
If the gossip mill is to be believed, Proverb, real name Tebogo Thekisho is calling it quits on his marriage of ten years to Onalerona.
The pair share two children together and have borne the brunt of a messy affair which went public about two months ago. Onalerona cheated on Proverb with a wealthy businessman and later confessed to Proverb. While the couple seem to be patching things up, it doesn't help that Drum magazine ran a report that Proverb now wants out of his union.
According to the magazine, Proverb said he had been living a lie and realised the affair had taken its toll on their marriage. Proverb is also quoted as saying that he did not realise how much the affair would affect him and he was looking forward to starting a new life without Onaerona.
While he hasn't come out directly about the Drum report, Proverb took to Instagram to make Onalerona his #womancrushforever and shared a selfie of the two braaing at their Joburg home.
