Keanu Reeves goes behind the camera

AFP Relaxnews | 29 June, 2012 14:46

Hollywood icon Keanu Reeves has given his legions of fans the first glimpse of his debut in the director's chair.

As expected, it looks like Man of Tai Chi will be loaded with action.

Reeves is set to star in the film, alongside Hong Kong's Karen Mok, and behind-the-scenes footage shows he is using the ‘Bot and Dolly Iris’ robotic camera system, which has only recently been developed.

The American has brought in the acclaimed stunt choreographer Yeun Woo-ping, with whom he worked on the Matrix films, to help with the martial arts scenes, but the actual plot of Man of Tai Chi is being kept under wraps.

The film is slated for a 2013 release.
