Tobee, by e-mail: I would like respond to Jackie May's article "You don't need a god to teach goodness." (May 24).

The dependence we have on our reasoning is the reason we find ourselves in a planet fast running out of resources to sustain us. If something doesn't add up, we reject it. Religion can be instructional, what's right and wrong, but a lifestyle of faith is different. A lifestyle of faith is believing in someone greater than yourself.
