Hogarth has instructed lawyers to issue General Siphiwe Nyanda (rtd), minister of coummunications, with the following letter: "It has come to our attention that you are conducting political debate on legal stationery.

The legal profession has a proud tradition of dealing with jurisprudential matters which pertain to the breaking of laws. We are instructed to require that you desist from conducting political debate on legal stationery as this defames our democratic institutions. Your conduct implies that this country is unable to entertain robust political engagement and is a sham democracy run by lawyers."

You Mampara, lighten up, get with the programme and debate via the array of spin doctors available to persons in your position.
