Ken Stacey, Cinda Park: Julius Malema is reported in The Times as having said in Rustenburg: "The people are failed by individuals in power, not the ANC." In another paper he reportedly said: "We are failed by individuals, not by our organisation, the ANC."

The wording is different but the content is clear and could not be taken out of context or spun by a myriad of spin doctors.

Does Malema not know that all people in positions of power in all strata of government are deployed by his organisation, the ANC? Because local elections are imminent he is trying to separate the facts of cronyism, corruption, fraud and struggle handouts as having nothing to do with the ANC. If not the ANC, then who is responsible for the current debacle?
