Mike Dibetsoe, by e-mail: I am disappointed that Chris Barron is misinformed about our beloved institution, the former Pretoria Technikon, in "An astute, thoughtful lensman" (May 22).



Since 1993 the photographic school has not been an "all-white Afrikaans" department.

Neo Ntsoma joined the institution in 1993, and Kopano Tlape and I in 1994.

If my memory serves me well, I am the first black photographer to have qualified in the photo school after black integration in the department.
