Regarding the story "Zuma must order probe into hacking claims: Zille", I am disappointed that even the leader of the official opposition does not know the law.

In terms of National Strategic Intelligence Act 39 of 1994, chapter defines functions of the Agency. This authority includes spying on citezens and there's no mention of judge's permission, in terms of this Act.

In fact, I do not think that Zille could be ignorant of this fact. I also think people, in general, recognise and accept the fact that now and again, they will be spied on, in order to keep them safe.
