I just love a chick who understands metal and machine. Julia Beffon, I enjoyed reading your articles covering the Moto GP races and am really impressed with your knowledge of the sport.

Your article "Let's get this straight, Laguna Seca isn't" (July 19) was awe-inspiring and reminds me of my mad youth, racing big machines on the streets of Cape Town. Keep up your exciting journalistic prose.
