"Will Mala Mala go for mahala?" (yesterday) is another likely case of tax money being used to finance ready-made nests.

What is the point of expropriation when the beneficiaries cannot run the entities themselves?

If the old owners are kept on to manage Ma la Mala, I should think they will ask for handsome remuneration .

It does not make any sense to use vast financial resources to buy successful enterprises. Would it not be wiser to get new projects off the ground and create extra work?

Freebie takeovers and handouts do not advance our economy. Mahala is very popular because it catches votes, but it does not inspire people to do something for themselves.
