If Ray Hartley had gone to the trouble of driving the Rea Vaya 1B route through Bosmont, he would have realised that it ends at the Bosmont cemetery ("Imagine Joburg on steroids",yesterday).

If he had driven this same 1B route at peak hour he would have experienced the condensing of traffic into a single lane of nightmarish proportions all the way from the Empire/Barry Herzog intersection to the Bosmont cemetery. He would also have seen no scope for enlarging the road anywhere along the route, unless those very same hospitals, universities and existing accommodation are knocked down. Please don't buy into the Corridor of Freedom hype.
