A garden of dagga pot-plants has been found in Kempton Park, said the Hawks.

Captain Paul Ramaloko said a 21-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested and dagga worth about R20 000 on the street was seized following a tip-off by community members.

"We confiscated 14 firearms, including an R5 rifle and a hunting rifle," said Ramaloko.

"We also found a BMW vehicle which was reported stolen in Durban."

The two were expected to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of manufacturing and dealing in drugs, the possession of unlicensed firearms and the possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.

More arrests were expected.
