Well wishes for Nelson Mandela

Times LIVE readers on Facebook and Twitter have been sending in their well wishes for former president Nelson Mandela, who was hospitalised this morning.
On Twitter, @Elderovh said: "May God's blessings be with the Mandela family. May he have a speedy recovery."
@Tumsaso tweeted: "Many believe that a man of your stature has needs to rest after a life well lived! I believe that maybe your journey is not over yet."
Another Twitter user, @Sabelex89, said: "We as a nation wish Madiba a well and steady recovery. South Africa isn't ready to let go of the Madiba legacy!"
A Twitterer named @olwethu said: "Get well soon we still need your presence!", while
@TheRealModise: "[I] wish Madiba good health. He's our struggle icon and may God be with him.....Speedy Recovery Tata."
One user, @nathanmotj, said: "Best wishes, tata. Proud he gets treated in SA hospital. And not flown out to some foreign country. Like some leaders in Africa."
The positive messages were echoed on Facebook.
Ingrid Josephs Vincent wrote: "Tata,we pray for your health. Asking God to keep His healing hands over you. God speed."
Merle Karp also wished the former president well, writing: "Get well soon Madiba. You are in our thoughts and our prayers. Lots of love."
"Get well soon tata. You are in my prayers. We love you, qhawe lamaqhawe," wrote Amanda Mtuli.
Zanu Majiet-Salie had this to say: "May the Almighty make it easy for you and grant you the strength to recover speedily with God's grace, dear Tata Madiba! You have a place in the heart of every South African and each and every one of us wish you the best! Lots of love from all of us!"
Thabiso Tolman wrote: "Get well Tata. May God protect and give You strength. WE LOVE YOU."
In political circles, there were also well wishes.
UDM leader Bantu Holomisa, said in a statement: "I wish Madiba a speedy recovery. Each and every South African's prayers and best wishes are with the Mandela family.
"Get well soon Tata."
Cosatu expressed concern over Mandela's health.
"We are concerned at the news that our icon and inspiration, Comrade Nelson Mandela, has been admitted to hospital for treatment for an abdominal complaint," spokesman Patrick Craven said.
The trade union wished the former president "a speedy and full recovery", Craven said.
Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille said in a statement: "We hope that [Mandela] will be able to return home as soon as possible. He will be constantly in our thoughts as he recovers."
