Honeymoon murder accused Shrien Dewani is expected to arrive in South Africa from Britain next week, but the Justice Department is not giving much away about the extradition process and what awaits him, according to a report.

Dewani is set to land in Cape Town on Tuesday next week and will appear in the Western Cape High Court for a possible bail application on the same day, says EWN.

The 33-year-old denies orchestrating the murder of his wife Anni in an alleged staged hijacking in Gugulethu in 2010.

Three South Africans are already serving jail terms for their role in the murder.

When he arrives in South Africa, he will head straight to the Western Cape High Court, where he will be making a formal bail application and will be formally charged, said the department’s Mthunzi Mhaga.
