Three arrested after drug lab on small holding catches fire

Three suspects were arrested for manufacturing and dealing in drugs at a Nigel small holding at Old Grace Church.

Neighbours alerted police to a fire at a small holding at Old Grace Church in Nigel on Tuesday evening, and then proceeded to extinguish the blaze.

Upon arrival, the police found drums, bags and buckets full of chemicals and acids in an outside premises with an estimated value of about R30 million.

The owner of the premises is under investigation.

Three suspects were arrested at the scene, according to Intelligence Bureau SA.
