No serious injuries after train accident near Kimberley

A train partially derailed near the N12 in Kimberley on Wednesday morning‚ but “fortunately no-one sustained any serious injuries”. ER24 said that its paramedics‚ “along with other services‚ responded to the scene‚ and on their arrival‚ found the partially derailed train near the track”.“Some of the occupants were found sitting around the train‚” the emergency medical service said.The paramedics found that 12 people from the train had sustained minor to moderate injuries‚ and they were treated before being transported them to hospital in Kimberley for further treatment.“The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.”..
