Christopher Panayiotou is willing to be fitted with an electronic ankle tracking bracelet if he is released on bail‚ according to a report. The Herald reported on Tuesday that Panayiotou‚ who is accused of masterminding the murder of his wife‚ Jayde‚ earlier this year‚ is still in custody after his previous bail application failed. But his lawyers are planning to try again before his scheduled court appearance next month. In the new bail application‚ they are likely to rely on a recent Bloemfontein Regional Court decision to release a fraud-accused on bail with a tracking bracelet.Panayiotou’s lawyers have‚ in the meantime‚ asked the Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s Court to order the prosecution to hand over copies of the docket so they can prepare for the bail application on new facts. – The Herald..
