Man crashes into Wimpy to answer nature's urgent call

A motorist crashed into the Wimpy at a North Coast Engen petrol station, used the toilet, and then ran away at 4am this morning.

‘I’m relieved it didn’t crash into the pumps, if there was a fire it would have been disastrous,’ Schalk Smuts, from the North Coast Engen 1-stop Southbound told The Zululand Observer.

It was also fortunate the support beam the motorist crashed into held.

While the driver, who apparently really needed to go, was uninjured. He had a passenger who was not so fortunate.

Paramedics took the passenger to hospital. There were no other injuries, and no arrests have been made.
