‘Our daughter was ripped out of this world’: devastated parents of slain Tokai teen.

Florian and Shireen Blöchliger the parents of Franziska offered a R50 000 reward for information leading to the arrest of her killers.

"We are appealing to the community, to everyone around here, to help us to find this person who can do something horrible like that," said Florian.

Surrounded by Franziska's grieving relatives and friends at their Muizenberg home, the couple relived their ordeal, which began on Monday afternoon when Franziska's body was found in the Tokai Forest, it's believed she was jogging through the forest on Monday afternoon while on a family outing.

“There’s no sense. Crime is coming closer and closer and I never expected it to rip right into his heart, so close" said the distraught father.

“It’s been the most terrible day in my entire life. I came here 20 years ago from Switzerland. This country gave me my fortunes, my love and my two children” as reported by You Magazine.
