SA millionaire's trial over girlfriend's pool death at Mauritius resort under way

The trial of a wealthy South African businessman started at the Supreme Court in Port Louis‚ Mauritius‚.Peter Wayne Roberts of Johannesburg is accused of murdering his girlfriend Lee-Ann Palmarozza at one of the most opulent resorts on the island. Her body was found in the swimming pool at the five-star Anahita resort in December 2014 and he was arrested shortly thereafter.Pool death victim's family just want justice to prevailHis lawyer Marco Martini said his client had pleaded not guilty."Today they made a jury selection‚ [there was] an opening address and they led certain state witnesses...policemen mainly‚'' said Martini.When asked how Roberts is dealing with the matter Martini said: "I am sure it is not pleasant to be in a foreign country.
