HETN obtains interdict against former chairman and others

The Higher Education Transformation Network (HETN) says it has obtained a High Court interdict against its former chairperson‚ Lucky Thekisho‚ and others‚ restraining them from‚ among other things‚ publicly misrepresenting themselves as the lawful directors of the HETN.

“In terms of the above-mentioned court interdict‚ Mr Thekisho and other respondents are interdicted and restrained from continuing to incite the public‚ as well as existing and potential members and/or supporters‚ partners‚ and contacts of the Higher Education Transformation Network‚” the HETN said in a statement.

It said Mr Thekisho and other respondents were also interdicted from continued unauthorised public and private usage and issuing of media statements using the name and logo or trademark of the HETN.

They may also not hold any further meetings and/ or collection of funds / resources in the name of the Higher Education Transformation Network (HETN)‚ pretend to act on behalf of the authentic HETN.

They have also been barred from using an unauthorised HETN Facebook page.
