Molly the collie rescued from wreck

Molly‚ a border collie working the law enforcement beat‚ was rescued from an overturned vehicle by paramedics and a tow truck company in Cape Town on Tuesday. ER24 said the canine was found lying trapped in a law enforcement vehicle when they arrived on the scene of an incident on the N7 in Milnerton.Her handler was trying‚ without success‚ to extract her from the vehicle on the side of the road.“Fortunately‚ Molly had sustained only a minor laceration under her one eye‚” said an ER24 statement.“ER24 paramedics‚ along with Cape Road Assist‚ used a winch from the towing vehicle to break the middle partition to free Molly.”Both patients were assessed‚ treated and transported to Mediclinic Milnerton.“Molly was handed over to the K9 unit waiting at the hospital for further treatment‚” said ER24.The cause of the crash is unknown. - TMG Digital..
