Renowned South African cartoonist Jonathan Shapiro‚ known as Zapiro‚ has been voted one of the top 10 cartoonists in the world by online lifestyle magazine Top Teny. Listed as number two on the list‚ Zapiro is known for making visual commentary on various aspects of society‚ often highlighting the politics of the day.Headquartered in New York‚ Top Teny was founded in 2010 “under the principle of giving readers the best the world has to offer”.“Zapiro is an award-winning editorial cartoonist from Cape Town‚ South Africa.
