25‚000 electricity users affected by Eskom fault in Tshwane protest area

The transformer 1 AB 33 kV breaker at the Mabopane East electricity substation had tripped at around 6pm on Tuesday‚ Eskom said. "This has impacted the following substations respectively‚ Vuka‚ Winterveld‚ Nonyane and Makgatho substations. Consequently‚ approximately 25 000 customers have been affected." Buses for scrap: A feast in Mamelodi from #TshwaneProtestsResidents of Mamelodi East are cashing in on the buses that have been burnt by protesters."This is the same substation where our staff members were chased away by the community earlier because of the protest action that happened (on Tuesday) in Tshwane."In the interest of mitigating this challenge‚ security has since been dispatched to escort our field team to investigate."..
