Van Breda axe murder accused in court for drug possession

Henri van Breda‚ accused of killing three of his family members‚ and his girlfriend Danielle Janse van Rensburg have been arrested for drug possession. Provincial National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Eric Ntabazalila said the two were nabbed earlier this week and appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court. "[Van Rensburg] was released on bail of R200. [Van Breda] was released on bail of R1000‚'' said Ntabazalila.How Henri van Breda spent his first night in a police cell - girlfriend speaksThe young man accused of slaughtering his family with an axe did not expect he would have to spend a night in a police cell after his arrest‚ his girlfriend has disclosed. The case was postponed to October 12.Van Breda stands accused of murder and attempted murder. He allegedly killed his mother Teresa‚ father Martin and brother Rudi at the family home in Stellenbosch last year. His sister Marli survived the attack.Last year the Sunday Times reported that Henri was addicted to tik.The couple had apparently been in possession of dagga but Ntabazalila could not confirm this...
