Cops in shootout with ATM bombers at Scottburgh Mall

Robbers blew up two ATMs in the Scottburgh Mall on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane confirmed the bombings."There was a shootout with police and suspects‚" said Zwane.It is believed that about 10 armed men bombed the ATMs and stormed the banks‚ escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.Residents took to social media at about 2am after hearing gunshots near the mall.The mall has been closed and cordoned off as police comb the area. – TMG Digital..
