WATCH: Burglars caught on camera getting down and dirty over Easter

Burglars in the northern KwaZulu-Natal town of Empangeni have got all the moves.

The local newspaper‚ the Zululand Observer‚ published a video on Thursday of three balaclava-clad intruders crawling underneath security beams of a home‚ before gaining access through the roof and ransacking the home.

Fortunately‚ the newspaper reported‚ no one was home at the time of the burglary.

According to Crime Stats SA’s website‚ over 3‚000 residential burglaries were reported to Empangeni police last year‚ an area which is has consistently made the top 10 worst crime areas in KZN list for a number of years.
