VW Golf And Beetle Get R-Line Tweaks

If you are a Volkswagen Golf or Beetle die-hard – well, brace yourself for some sportiness because VW has introduced the R-line package to both models.

Until now the R-Line package was only available in the new Touareg, Scirocco, Tiguan and Volkswagen CC.

Now the package is available in the Golf Comfortline and Highline. The R-Line package for Golf includes the following interior and exterior features: A 17- inch Salvador alloy wheels in comfortline while on the other hand the Highline boasts a set of 18 inch Serron alloy wheels. The front and rear bumpers have been R-styled, with an R-line badge on the grille and the R-line logo on the front scuff plates.

As for the Beetle model the package will be offered with the Sport 1.4 TSI 110kW derivatives. Interior and exterior features includes the 19-inch alloy, front and rear R-styled bumpers, a rear spoiler and black painted rear diffuser amongst others with sport suspension. It also boasts an R-line logo on the front scuff and R-badge on the grille.

The optional R-Line package in both models is available at R12 500.
