When it comes to churning out so-called 'special-editions' Volkswagen is right up there with Porsche. Just last week we had the Polo Beats. This week we have the new Polo Vivo Storm. Based on the 1.4i Trendline model the Storm tries to bling things up a bit with front foglights (with chrome surrounds), black 15-inch alloy wheels and gloss-black side mirrors. Also present are black decals running down the bottom of the doors and, of course, double chrome-tipped exhaust pipes. Inside you'll apparently find a dashboard with 'a two-tone finish in grey and ceramique.' Ceramique? Yep, your guess is as good as mine.

Luckily I know what leather is and you'll find it covering the Storm's steering wheel, gear gaiter and handbrake lever. Your entertainment needs are seen to by a six-speaker sound-system that includes Bluetooth, SD card and USB Connectivity. Unlike the Beats the Storm has a full-size spare wheel. So you won't be stranded out on the N1 highway when you get a puncture. Which is nice. So... want one? Well then you better have a spare R187 300 handy.
