Good news if you're a Porsche fan. The iconic sports car manufacturer announced the 911 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition. But there's bad news too, as you might have guessed from the name. It's only going to be available to the British market and just 40 examples have been created. Since it first went on sale in 1974, the 911 Turbo has become revered by car enthusiasts and is renowned as the benchmark high-performance sports coupe. In this exclusive guise, it hangs onto those benchmark performance credentials: the 0-100km/h sprint for example is dispatched in a blistering 3.1 seconds. Its flat-six, twin-turbocharged engine kicks out 418kW and power is sent to all four wheels via Porsche's double-clutch PDK transmission. British buyers will certainly take delight in cues like the Union Jack embroidered on the upholstery. And the leather seats have been hand-knitted too for a bespoke feel; with contrasting red stitching. They'll be able to pick from three exterior colours: silver metallic, white and Guards Red. It rolls on 20-inch Sport Classic alloy wheels. It comes at a premium, as you would imagine: £150,237 is what they'll pay. And that roughly equates to R2 753 000.
