Father padlocks son's mouth as he beats him to death

30-year-old Nigerian father, Chris Elvis, allegedly accused four-year-old Godrich of being an 'Ogbanje' or 'child of evil'.

The boy was burned with a hot iron and a padlock was fitted to his mouth to stop him screaming as his father beat him to death, according to Mail Online.

The father, a security guard, was arrested when the mother called the police after finding her son dead.

The father, who tried to act mentally ill when arrested, is in custody and has been charged with murder.
