Surfers have rescued two men trapped in a strong rip current at Glen Beach in Cape Town.

Aerial footage of the rescue‚ shot from a drone hovering overhead‚ was published on the Cape Town Guy website on Sunday.

Surfers Adam Zartz‚ Ryan Berkowitz and Christopher Verster-Cohen swam and paddled out to the men who were swept away from the beach area towards large rocks.

The men were brought safely ashore and can be seen hugging and thanking the good Samaritans.
