ANC Youth League president Julius Malema is facing yet another court challenge -this time from the Eastern Cape branch - as problems continue to deepen in the youth league.

The ANCYL Eastern Cape Provincial Executive Committee which was disbanded by league's working committee last month after it failed to hold provincial elections, is to approach High Court to stop the Youth League National Executive Committee from proceeding with a Provincial Congress on 2 July 2010.

The Eastern Cape court challenge comes just days after Malema's former close friend and ousted Limpopo youth league chairperson Lehlogonolo Masoga also turned took the legal route in a bid to stop Malema from installing his own hand-picked leadership in the province.
