Slain Teazers boss Lolly Jackson's widow, Demi, has brought an application to have former Teazers' financial manager Ricardo Fabre sequestrated.

Jackson launched the application in the Johannesburg High Court in August on behalf of the Teazers Group. Fabre faces criminal charges for fraud and theft.

He was arrested in early June and charged with directing funds from Teazers' account into his own personal account to the tune of R162000. Jackson claims Fabre owes her family R8-million.

Fabre, who worked for Jackson until just after he was murdered, has denied the charges, claiming in an affidavit that he was given "ad hoc payments" by his boss.

The criminal case against Fabre has been set down for trial in February. He has not pleaded.
